Fact of the Day: Before he was infamous, Adolf Hitler was an aspiring artist. Had he been accepted to the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts after applying the second time, he may have lived out his days as a not-so-well-known painter of flowers. Posted by Hello

But to be fair, his art was probably pretty bad and would have been responsible for millions of deaths. So we were screwed either way, I think...

Actually, Hitler's artwork is pretty good, but he was never able to draw animate objects, and that is why he was never accepted to the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts. He failed in his test drawings, nearly all of them figure studies, which is why you very rarely see people in his artwork. There is great demand for his original pieces.
